Technical diver training is divided into two parts. In the first part of the course you will acquire the skills necessary for technical diving. Once the trainee has mastered these skills, he moves on to the next course, which includes decompression dives. This method makes it possible to gradually form and consolidate acquired knowledge.

The course's goal:
The purpose of the course is to introduce the recreational diver to the world of technical diving, diving with various gas mixtures, to depths exceeding 30 meters, and bottom time beyond the scope of recreational diving requiring decompression stops.

A diver who has hitherto dived with a single cylinder and short bottom time will find that he will need to learn how to operate additional equipment, learn new skills, and modify existing skills.

A diver who has hitherto dived with a single cylinder for short bottom time's will find that he will need to learn how to operate additional equipment, learn new skills, and modify existing skills. Using doubles and dealing with malfunctions in the SCUBA system.

Use of stage/deco cylinders.

Using a long hose diving regulator.

Planning a decompression dive.

underwater communication.

Movement and position in water.

The use of reels and DSMB.

prerequisite:

  1. 18 on the day the course starts.
  2. 2-star diver or equivalent from another diving organization/
  3. 50 loged dives, of which at least 10 dives to a depth exceeding 20 m.
  4. Certified as a nitrox diver (the nitrox course can be completed within this course).

Course structure and topics:

As part of the course, the students will spend most of the time underwater in the open sea at shallow depths and deal with diving planning, fault simulation, teamwork, movement and trim, working with reels & DSMB.

This is a very intensive, practical oriented course that aims to give the diver the basics and skills needed to perform technical dives.

The theoretical lessons will include the following  topics: the new environment, rules of conduct, diving planning and more.

The skills taught in this course are the basic skills of technical diving, which form the basis for all types of technical diving including cave diving and shipwreck diving.

Duration:

6 hours of water at least.
6  theoretical lessons and equipment lessons .

Qualification conditions:

  1. Successful execution all (20) water skills taught in the course.
  2. Successfully pass 3 theory tests.

certification:

  1. Dive with double cylinders and one stage using Nitrox up to 50%.
  2. No Decompression dive.
